Hi everybody!
For the past nine months we have been working hard on REACH OF THE ROACH GOD. We can see the end, if we squint into the dark -- I'm finishing my draft for the final chapter; playtest feedback is back; Munkao is an illustration machine; Hrftype is laying out pages.
That's the good news.
The bad news:

DELIVERY DELAY: FEBRUARY / MARCH 2023
We wanted to fit as many ideas, details, and game-things into every page of ROTRG -- more than we've previously done with our zines.
This has led to an unprecedented workload for us. Putting out what amounts to a zine plus plus's worth of writing and illustrations, every month, month after month, has taken more out of us than we initially anticipated. Also: COVID and other ailments hit us pretty hard, resulting in time off the clock for both me and Munkao ...
Considering all of the above, we have been forced to sit down and revise our timelines.
What does this mean for you, our backers?
Delivery of REACH OF THE ROACH GOD will be delayed.
The revised target delivery date is February / March 2023, four months from our original date of November 2022.
This new target date takes into account the time we need to complete edits, layout, printing, and getting it out to our distro partners -- and to you. We don’t want to over-promise, and will announce a more definite delivery date when things are clearer, in the coming months.
Thank you for your continued support and patience. Honestly. We are doing our best to get this to you promptly, and will post updates if the situation changes.

EIGHT CHAPTERS
We initially planned for ROTRG to have nine sections, with the last three being: a bestiary; a cave generator; and campaign generator.
The campaign generator was meant to provide adventure hooks and a frame for an underground-themed campaign. However, as the book solidified, that imagined frame seemed to seep into the three adventure modules and the three gazetteers: a world in the dark, menaced by the ubiquitous threat of expansionist roach-folk.
I tried to embrace that. Instead reserving stuff for a standalone campaign generator, I have been integrating campaign options organically throughout the book. (For example: our previous preview chapter, THE GOD ODOYOQ, provides six separate campaign "threats", with separate methods and goals, in the roach god and his children-monarchs, and a way to randomly determine which "threat" surfaces when.)
This being the case: we've got just the bestiary and (action-figure-based) cave generator to go!

BESTIARY TEASER
Munkao has already assembled a draft layout for the bestiary. But since it is intimately tied to the cave generator, and that's still in progress, and these are the final bits of the book, we're going to hold off on PDF previews for both.
(The previews take extra effort to put together -- and, as excited as we are about showing off these creatures to you folks, we've decided that our energy is better spent concentrating on the book proper!)
Nevertheless, a taste:
Sri Duka Tira, a cave-racer god
Fuzz zombies. Fungal infections are pretty nasty!
As a bonus: here are the Caving Dead, a category of creature that didn't make the bestiary; page constraints mean that we've had to be pretty unsentimental about our (horrible, horrible) babies.

Once again, thank you for sticking with us.
Yours in chitin:
